Summary

You are... you.

At least, you think you are.

Questions of identity are tricky little things. Is a reflection the same as the thing it mirrors? Is it something lesser, or something entirely its own? You've had centuries to think about it and still haven't found an answer. Granted, a lot of that time was spent sleeping.

What you do know is this: long ago, you awoke in a stone sarcophagus overlooking the sea. You wandered the land for years beyond counting, collecting stories, sights, and memories that never seemed inclined to stay put. Then, one day, you returned to where it all began and fell into a deep sleep.

And now, little moon, you've awakened once more.

The dreamy seaside town of Merrow has grown around your resting place. What was once an isolated monument upon the cliffs is now a local landmark, wrapped in folklore and weathered by salt and time. You really wish they hadn't done that. It was a fairly comfortable bed, if you ignored all the stone.

Still, the place is pleasant enough. The townsfolk are curious, friendly, strange, and more than often all three at once.

Yet something feels different this time. Excluding the new buildings and such of course.

And above it all, hangs the moon.
